Eurobaschh

The Eurobaschh is an event showcasing six of the hottest newly signed acts from around Europe. Established in 1997, this is the first time it will be exclusively televised. The main event will take place at the Shepherd's Bush Empire, London, a showcase for rising contemporary music that is the antithesis of Eurovision.

As well as live performances, the show's VT items will take us on a tour of Europe's musical hot spots and give us a mini profile of each competing band. Hosted by Sara Cox and Jeff Green, the event boasts a panel comprising key musical personalities and presenters. There is also a registered vote online in the pre-selection and voting of bands. Stylised with the usual Rapido hallmarks, Julia Knowles (MTV Awards, Smash Hits etc...) will direct, Helen Terry will produce and Cath Pater (MTV Awards) will design the set.
